Karen lectures in Toronto
Karen Berg, the Spiritual Leader of The Kabbalah Centre, recently launched a tour of the country in support of her new book, To Be Continued: Reincarnation & The Purpose of Our Lives. Karen’s new book delves into reincarnation from a kabbalistic point of view, describing the soul’s journey back to the Light through many different lifetimes. Explaining how reincarnation is relevant as a tool – and not simply an esoteric concept – Karen encourages people to use this tool to create positive, lasting change in their lives and the world in general.
The tour kicked off on Sunday, October 21st at the Sheraton Hotel in New York City. Over 700 people attended this event, where Karen explored themes about reincarnation contained in her book. We can, according to Karen, use the knowledge of reincarnation to empower ourselves with the knowledge that any mistake we have ever made is ultimately correctable. “I enjoyed hearing Karen so much,” said a student who attended the event, “It was so profound and deeply motivating!”
Karen in Chicago
The following day, Karen traveled to Chicago for the next event on her itinerary. Almost 300 people arrived at The Kabbalah Centre’s Study Group facility in Chicago’s Highland Park neighborhood to hear Karen speak. Karen explained that since each and every person on this planet has the power to reach our true potential and change the state of our world, our individual range of responsibility goes beyond our homes and offices. Reaching our true potential, however, requires an understanding of our past lives and the corrections we were sent back to make. “Having Karen Berg here in Chicago has made my understanding – of who she is, all she stands for and all she does – move from something in my head that I heard or read about, to something far deeper,” said a Chicago-based Kabbalah Centre student, “It’s now in my heart and soul.”
After bidding farewell to Chicago, Karen crossed the border into Canada for the next stop on her tour: Toronto. The Toronto Kabbalah Centre hadn’t hosted Karen in nearly six years, hence the local Kabbalah community was quite excited to receive her in the Queen City once again. Karen’s event was held at the Toronto Reference Library, where over 400 people came to listen to her expound on our past lives and the corrections we were given the opportunity to achieve. “Karen provided so many answers,” said a student, “And each one changed and inspired me in ways I can’t even begin to explain – and probably haven’t even begun to fully realize.”
As a result of Karen’s visit, the Toronto Centre has seen a sharp spike in the number of students attending Shabbat and other Centre services. While signs of expansion were beginning to show even before Karen’s event, the community has been tangibly energized by her presence and her words. As one student put it, “There is so much more to do, and I just want to do so much more!”
The next phase of Karen’s tour continues on November 18th in St. Louis, Missouri, with stops in Florida, Texas and Southern California following. Come out and enjoy an entertaining, informative evening with the Spiritual Leader of The Kabbalah Centre, Karen Berg!
